PARS Theological Centre – Training Leaders, Transforming Iran

Global Missions Partner Visit on Sunday, October 22, 2023

Iran is home to one of the world’s oldest civilizations. And yet, despite its rich cultural heritage, today disease and disharmony tear at its social fabric. High rates of drug abuse, corruption, and suicide reveal the true colors of a nation sinking into hopelessness.

Amidst this fragile spiritual and socio-political landscape, God is working powerfully in what many believe to be one of the greatest movements to Christ today. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is capturing the hearts of many Iranians as they choose to follow Him as their Lord and Savior. Underground house fellowships are rapidly mushrooming all over the country, forming worshipping communities that radiate Christ’s light both in rural and urban regions of the country. Iranian churches are also forming across the growing diaspora in Europe, North America, and the Far East.

Did You Know?

Did you know that the country with the fastest-growing evangelical Christian population in the world is Iran, where the church is growing 19.6% a year, with now over one million underground believers? Did you know that PARS Theological Centre (https://parstheology.org/about/ ), is training the young leaders of this underground church, as well as Persian (Farsi) speaking Christians around the world? Did you know that PARS is a global mission partner for both ECO and FPC and that our church (that means YOU) has even donated funds to translate four theological books from English to Farsi?

Did you know that the leader of PARS, will be speaking briefly at our church this Sunday about their ministry training and equipping the leaders of the underground church in Iran?
