“A Praying Life” Seminar
Save the Date for March 22-23, 2024
Individuals and small groups of any size, existing or newly forming, are invited to read and discuss “A Praying Life.” In his book, Miller richly discusses prayer and how and where he has seen God working in his own life. He discusses praying big and praying like a child, messy and authentic. He reminds us that we are all living in God’s bigger story and to look for and be aware of the threads He’s weaving through all our stories. He discusses what it is to lament, gives insight when praying into the hard and unfinished stories, and much more. Mostly, though, Miller speaks on how prayer has impacted his own life, his marriage, his parenting of 6 children (one disabled), and his own character and maturity. Paul Miller says, “Prayer is where I do my best work as a husband, dad, worker, and friend.”
Please consider joining us in examining the value, power, and privilege of prayer in our lives individually, as well as in community.
PAUL DAVID TRIPP calls A Praying Life, “A book about prayer that actually makes you want to pray!”
TIM KELLER says it’s “A great book on prayer—biblical, practical, readable.”
