Welcome to First Presbyterian Church (FPC)! It's a joy to see your interest in uncovering more about our faith community, mission, and the wonderful people who make up our church family. If you're considering taking the step to become a part of FPC, we invite you to participate in our Discover, Know, JoinFPC! Program. This enriching journey leads you towards becoming a Covenant Partner (member) of our church through a series of engaging and informative steps.
What is the Discover, Know, Join FPC! Program?
- Exploring the mission and core values that define First Presbyterian Church.
- Building connections with fellow newcomers to our congregation.
- Meeting our dedicated staff and existing Covenant Partners (members).
- Discovering meaningful ways to get involved and understanding your significance to Jesus and our church family.
Take the Steps to Discover, Know, & Join FPC!
- When: One Sunday each season from 12:15 PM – 2:00 PM (See upcoming dates below)
- Join us for lunch, engage in meaningful conversations with our pastors and staff, and get a general overview of what FPC is all about.
- When: One Sunday each season from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM (See upcoming dates below)
- Take a deeper dive into our theology, tour our facilities, and learn how we strive to Love Christ, Love One Another, and Love our City. Includes a light breakfast and lunch.
- Programs for children and youth in attendance are available. Please mention any children or youth programs you need when registering or contact Sheila Figueroa for assistance.
- Following the KnowFPC! Class, a one-on-one meeting will be arranged with a member of our Pastoral Staff to further discuss your journey and any questions you may have.
- After completing the first three steps, you’ll be officially welcomed as a Covenant Partner at our next Church Officer’s Dinner (held monthly).
