Join us on your marriage journey
At FPC, we are dedicated to supporting you at every step of your marriage journey. We believe in building strong foundations and nurturing close relationships both with God and with each other. Our goal is to help married couples grow closer and healthier through every stage of family life, because healthy relationships lead to stronger churches and vibrant communities!
Building Strong Foundations
We offer regular classes, mentoring, and events for couples who want to strengthen their relationship both before and during marriage. Additionally, we provide support for struggling marriages and relationship enrichment opportunities through retreats and educational videos and articles.
Our Marriage Ministry uses **Prepare/Enrich**, the leading premarital and marriage assessment tool. This evidence-based program enhances relationships through skill-building and insightful exercises, and is recognized globally for improving couples' dynamics. Tailored to each couple's unique needs, Prepare/Enrich offers valuable exercises to strengthen your relationship skills. Do you want to understand each other better and argue less? Feel confident discussing important topics? Learn how to support each other as both friends and partners? Whether you've been married for 0, 5, 10, 25 years or more, the Prepare/Enrich Assessment can help. We train Marriage Mentors with the Prepare/Enrich curriculum to guide both newly engaged and long-time married couples. With the support of a Marriage Mentor and the Prepare/Enrich program, you will receive outstanding tools to improve and grow your relationship. FPC regularly hosts Love Reboot Marriage Intensive Weekends in collaboration with the San Antonio-based Growing Love Network, founded by Jon Anderson. Love Reboot could be the most transformative three days of your marriage. Whether your relationship needs a boost or a complete do-over, Love Reboot has proven to be more effective than traditional marriage counseling methods. We have successfully worked with over 1,000 struggling couples, providing a pathway to stronger and more fulfilling relationships. If you are recently separated, dealing with an affair, or considering divorce, we strongly urge both spouses to attend a Love Reboot workshop before pursuing other forms of counseling or marriage courses. Taking this step towards healing can dramatically improve your marriage.
