National Day of Prayer & Prayer Walk
Pray for the USA on the National Day of Prayer, the first Thursday in May each year.
"Pour out to the God of hope and be filled." (Romans 15:13)
We invite you to a short prayer service at the FPC Avenue E Entrance, under the porte cochere. When we finish we will walk and pray on a route to First Baptist Church for the citywide program that begins at 11:30 AM. We will worship and lift our prayers for San Antonio and the nation. If raining, the FPC Prayer Walk will be canceled.
Schedule:
- 10:00 AM: Kick-off with prayers at First Presbyterian Church (FPC, 404 N. Alamo, 78205) in the Ave E Entrance
- Walk to First Baptist Church (FBC) at 515 McCullough Ave, 78215
- 11:30 AM: Worship & Praise at FBC
- 12:00 PM: National Day of Prayer observance with Mayor's proclamation
All ages welcome, shuttle available for those needing assistance between locations.
Suggested items to bring: water bottle, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, good walking shoes.
