Midday Noels 2023

MIDDAY NOELS – Our Gift to the City

Thursdays, December 7, 14, and 21 | 12:00-12:45 PM

Once again, FPC offers its holiday ‘gift to the city’ with a variety of creative musical offerings.  In addition to in-person seating, all three concerts will be streamed live here at fpcsanantonio.org/noels and will be available for viewing on our YouTube.com channel after the concert.

Hot Lunch & Grab and Go Lunches:

Following the concert, we will be offering a hot lunch ($15) in Westminster Hall or ‘Grab and Go’ lunches ($5), available in the Sanctuary Narthex.

Concerts:

December 7 | Hear the Bells Ring and Voices Sing!

Join us for this showcase of talent from across our music ministry as we feature our Sanctuary Handbells complemented by carols offered by our Chamber Singer ensemble. We will invite everyone to finish the concert with a rousing sing-a-long of “Joy to the World!”

December 14 | A European Christmas with Bronwyn White

We welcome opera singer and recitalist Bronwyn White as she takes us on a musical journey through different European musical traditions and expressions of the Christmas season. Bronwyn sings weekly with our Sanctuary Choir when she isn’t traveling to perform in opera and symphony concerts around the country.

December 21 | Shimmering Brass with the Castle Brass Quintet

We are pleased to welcome the Castle Brass Quintet, a brass quintet featuring some of the finest freelance professional musicians in the San Antonio area. The ensemble is comprised of two trumpets, French horn, trombone, tuba, and percussion and is led by Jeff Castle, a United States Air Force veteran and trumpet teacher at The University of Texas San Antonio and Trinity University.
