Mission Opportunities

Support the KRL with Donations

The Kingdom Restoration Lab (KRL) at FPC has been able to serve nearly 500 people since it opened in January 2019, and continues to bring hope and restoration to our neighbors.

Help fill the food and clothing pantries with necessities for our under-resourced neighbors in their journey to becoming self-sufficient:

Snack Kit Needs: 8 oz Bottles of Water
Hygiene Kit Needs: Men’s Deodorant (priority), Women’s Deodorant, Hair Brushes, Razors
Clothing Needs: Gloves, Beanies, Men’s Socks, Men’s Jeans, Gently Used Men’s Running Shoes

An Amazon wish list has been created by our partner, SA Hope Center;  Click HERE for the list and to make a purchase. All of the items that you purchase from the Amazon wish list will be shipped directly to the KRL.

Volunteer with YoungLives

YoungLives, a ministry to teen moms and their babies, is in need of mentors, leaders, childcare, meals, drivers and committee members. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer on Tuesday afternoons in the Student Center or would like to know more about this ministry, please contact Christina Via at 678-993-6146.

Loaves & Fishes

Saturday | March 21 | 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM | Student Center
Loaves and Fishes is our monthly opportunity to welcome our under-resourced neighbors for lunch where they will be fed physically and spiritually. We meet in the Student Center on the third Saturday of each month. From 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM, we begin with orientation and then participate in Loaves and Fishes. We have teams for set up, serving, showers, and clean up and we hope all participants will join our guests for a meal around a table.

Habitat for Humanity Cluster Build

Saturdays | Feb. 8 – Apr. 4
FPC is one of 15+ local Presbyterian Churches making up the Presbyterian Cluster. In 2020, the Cluster will sponsor, fund and build our 25th Habitat home. We are seeking volunteers for the build, beginning Feb. 8 and running each Saturday through April 4. No experience or special skills required! For more information contact Fred Wall at 210-887-2434 or fredkwall@aol.com.
