Pastor’s Bible Study Fall 2023

Pastor’s Bible Study Fall 2023

Topic:  The Mission and Journeys of Paul “Acts 7-28”

Just before Jesus ascended to the Father, He told his followers, “…You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8). When the time was right to take the gospel beyond Israel to the Gentiles, to the wider Greco-Roman world, the Lord raised up a very unlikely candidate: a zealous Pharisee named “Saul.” The Lord transformed this Pharisee, renamed him “Paul,” and made him the greatest missionary of the early church. This fall we will study the book of Acts and follow Paul on his journeys to see how the Holy Spirit used this one-time enemy of the church to change the world for Jesus Christ.
