Do you want to give Christmas gifts that will make a difference in San Antonio and the world? Purchase a gift that will help to sponsor opportunities for people who are impacted by the work of several of our Local and Global missions partners. 

We will have a table where you can shop on Sundays, December 5, 12, and 19. You you may also download a form on the website, or fill one out online. When submitting your form with check or cash, bring it or mail it to Lindsay Selli in the church office. You can also give using debit/credit card if submitting your form online.

Your Gift Options

Pars Theological Center works to equip and mobilize the Iranian church by training a new generation of servant leaders to lead the church and transform the Persian-speaking world for the glory of God.

$25 – Help provide mentoring for a leader in Iran: Your gift will help provide face-to-face mentoring and ministry opportunities for students, in their natural context, and on the mission field.

$50 – Help support a student for 1 year of education: Through this program, Pars is able to provide a full online BA program of Biblical, theological, and ministerial learning in Persian.

Living Waters for the World (LWW) trains mission teams and partners with international communities to teach them how to install and maintain water purification systems that make their water safe to drink. FPC is partnering with LWW in the Yucatan to provide clean water to communities, where they are also receiving news of the Living Water, Jesus Christ.

$30 – Your gift will help bring 5 gallons of clean water, daily, to a family in the Yucatan for one month. It will also support the construction and maintenance of Clean Water processing facilities in the Yucatan.

World Renew works to change the story of hunger, poverty, and illness. They share in this calling with staff, local partners, and global communities to share in God’s deep passion for renewing hope, reconciling lives, and restoring creation.

$19 – Help parents supplement their children’s diets with a nutrition kit. The kit includes soybeans to make soy milk, medicine to stop parasites, and vitamins for essential nutrients.

$3 – 1 chicken for families to raise food, fertilizer, feathers, meat, and eggs. Your gift also helps families earn a stable income.

The Kingdom Restoration Collaborative (KRL) is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church, working in collaborative, faith-based partnership to holistically care for the homeless and under-resourced in San Antonio. Partnerships include the SA Hope Center, Any Woman Can, Life Restored San Antonio, One By One, CAM, Haven for Hope, and YoungLives.

$10 – Provide a gift card through Any Woman Can for diapers or pre-natal vitamins.

$15 – Provide new socks and underwear for our under-resourced neighbors.

$15 – Provide supplies for snack or hygiene kits in the KRL.

Christian Assistance Ministry’s (CAM) mission is to share the love of Christ by providing immediate assistance and encouragement to people in crisis. CAM provides many items to meet clients’ immediate physical needs while also addressing the needs of the mind and soul. CAM is also a vital connection for clients who need long-term support by providing referrals and advocating for the client to other nonprofits and/or government agencies.

$20 – Provide a month of groceries for a family.

$30 – Provide a 1 month bus pass.

Pay It Forward was founded to fill the gap between the transitional needs of those in recovery from alcohol or drug abuse after completing treatment or incarceration. Their mission is to provide the critical link between treatment and long-term recovery through supportive sober living, allowing individuals to heal from the destruction of addiction and create meaningful lives.

$12 – Provide a 7-Day VIA bus pass for an individual working to rebuild their lives in the Clean and Sober program.

We are thrilled you are considering making a gift purchase that will support FPC’s local and global ministry partners this year. This year we have two ways to shop:

• In-person or by mail (cash or check)

  • Please download a shopping list to review gift options and complete the form accordingly.  Additionally there will be a table in the Mauze Lobby on Sundays, December 5, 12, and 19. (When paying by check, please remember to include the check number.)
  • When you’ve completed the shopping list form, please leave the completed form and payment (cash or check) at Lindsay Selli’s desk or in her mailbox. You may also mail in the form and payment c/o Lindsay Selli at First Presbyterian Church.
