Fall activities are starting up at FPC again! Don’t miss this chance to reconnect, experience and discover the many ways you can get involved this fall, including Worship, Bible Studies and Christian Education, Upcoming Activities and Events, Sunday School for all ages, and Opportunities for Mission and Community Outreach. Description/Topic: “First Class” meets at 8:30 in Room 224 every Sunday and will begin a study of Galatians and 1 Peter on Sept. 9.

Description: The “On Ramp” Sunday School class is a 6-week class beginning on September 9 for new visitors, new covenant partners, or those who want to learn more and grow deeper in their faith!

Foundations Marriage Class – NEW!
Meets: 9:30 AM
Room: 302
Topic: The Foundations class will be studying “A Biblical Portrait of Marriage” by Bruce Wilkinson, every Sunday beginning Sept. 9. If you are married or would like to be, this is a great class for you! Open to all adults.

ABC (Agape Bible Class)

Description: ABC is for adults of all ages, for those with no biblical background, and also for those with a rich background of Bible study. Lecture combined with discussion.

Description: Arthur Gray Jones class has been in continuous existence since the 1920’s, with a tradition of warm fellowship and good discussion.

Bridges

Description: This class for all ages serves as a “bridge” between God’s word and practical application. We connect with each other through fellowship, social gatherings, prayer, and service projects.

New Covenant

Description: Learn and discuss the Christian faith through Bible-based lessons that connect with real-life experiences. We are a congenial group of friends who enjoy reading and studying the Bible together.

The Uncomfortables
Meets: 9:30 AM
Room: 228 (Bride’s Room)
Description: The Uncomfortables is a class that explores the issues of faith in our modern world and takes on subjects or topics that sometimes make others “uncomfortable”. This fall’s topic is N. T. Wright’s PAUL: A BIOGRAPHY, where he examines Paul’s humanity and the extreme unlikelihood of what he achieved.

Description: Something powerful happens when the body of Christ prays together, and it is happening at First Pres! Care Cluster Ministry Presentation

Loaves and Fishes
Meets: 11:00 AM – 2:oo PM
Location: Student Center
Description: Loaves and Fishes is our monthly opportunity to welcome our under-resourced neighbors for lunch where they will be fed physically and spiritually. We meet in the Student Center on the third Saturday of each month (Next event: Oct. 20) We will begin with orientation and participate in Loaves and Fishes from 11-2. We will have teams for set up, serving, and clean up as we hope all participants will join our guests for a meal around a table. Fall Young Adult Retreat

October 26-28 | Franklin Family Ranch

Invest in a weekend away with friends at the beautiful Franklin Family Ranch where we will Re-focus on real life, real relationships, and real purpose. The cost is $50 if paid by September 30 and covers all meals, lodging, and all the fun you can stand. Grief and the Holidays Workshop

This workshop is designed to help those who are grieving to better understand how grief affects us during the holidays, and how we can use this special time to continue to heal. Looking after the Orphan

Opportunities for you & our entire FPC family. The FPC Local Missions Committee invites all covenant partners for a special Sunday lunch with ministry partners such as CASA, Ransomed Life, PCHAS, STAFO, Grandfamilies (and more!), as we faithfully steward our role in participation with God’s mission for the church – looking after the orphan (James 1:27).
